Sweden is a sparsely populated country, characterized by its long coastline, extensive forests and numerous lakes. It is one of the world’s northernmost countries. In terms of surface area it is comparable to Spain, Thailand or the American state of California.
Required Documents
- The passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of exit from the Schengen area, and it must have two blank pages on the opposing sides
- Recent color passport photograph (35–45mm in width), no more than 6-months old
- UAE residence visa – minimum 6 months from the date of submission of your visa application
- Copy of bank statement, for the last 6 months
- Original letter from employer stating employment status, position, length of contract and salary

- Copy of travel arrangements (Preliminary flight booking, not paid or confirmed)
- Hotel reservation/accommodation is requested for applicants who will not be living with the reference
- A Travel insurance & Medical insurance valid for all Schengen countries and worth a minimum of EURO 30000
- Copy of the company trade license (if the applicant is the owner of the company)
- Birth certificate in English is required to be submitted at the time of submission for children below 18 years of age
